The Lyric Theatre is a Broadway theatre located in New York City. It is located at 214 West 43rd Street, in the heart of Times Square. The theatre was designed by the architects Herts and Tallant and opened in 1903 as the 43rd Street Theatre.
Over the years, the theatre has been home to many successful productions, including “The Little Mermaid,” “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark,” “On the Town,” and “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.” The theatre has a seating capacity of approximately 1,900 people and features a grand, neo-classical design.
The Lyric Theatre is owned by the Ambassador Theatre Group and is one of the largest theatres on Broadway. It is located in close proximity to many other Broadway theatres, as well as popular tourist attractions such as Times Square and Rockefeller Center.
